Description

A wharf warehouse dating from the mid-19th century. The front is constructed of granite ashlar, featuring a plinth, string course, and keyed elliptical arches. It has a hipped roof covered with scantle slate, concealed behind a plain ashlar parapet. The rectangular building has a 5-window range along its road frontage. It has 2-light windows with 3-light overlights. The original wide doorway, with a pair of boarded doors, is located to the right of the centre. Narrower doorways are found on the first floor towards the left and both floors on the right; a widened doorway is towards the left ground floor, with a blocked ashlar window to its right. Internally, original king-post roof structures are visible in the central area; the remainder of the interior was not inspected.
