Description
Piers and walls located about 35 metres south of Higher Anderton House date from around 1830. They are constructed from rubble and rendered, featuring limestone caps and copings. The structure includes a pair of square piers that stand about 2 metres high, each topped with pyramidal caps and having a recessed panel on each side. There are 20th-century iron gates between the piers. The wall extends forward to the right and left for about 3 metres, ending with plain lower terminal piers that also have pyramidal caps. A Victorian letterbox is set into the wall on the right side.
