Description
Wesley House, built around the mid-19th century, is a two-storey house located on Prospect Place in Hayle. The exterior features coursed granite rubble with granite dressings and a hipped roof covered in grouted scantle slate, complemented by brick chimneys on the side walls. The house has a symmetrical front with three windows and a central porch added in the 20th century, which sits in front of the original doorway. The windows are original 12-pane hornless sashes. Surrounding the property are rubble garden walls, and there is a gateway on the left-hand wall that includes square, cruciform-headed granite monolithic gate piers and an old wrought iron gate with scroll detailing, displaying the house name and number. The interior has not been inspected but may still have some original features and joinery.
