Description

No. 6 and 6A High Cross is a town house, now used as an office, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of stucco and has an asbestos slate roof with a cast-iron ogee gutter. It features a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. To the left, there is a late 19th-century four-panelled door, two of which are glazed, set within an architrave that has pilasters. The windows are 12-pane horned sashes with cambered keyed arches above them. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
