Description

PORTREATH GLENFEADON TERRACE SW 64 SW (south side) 1/233 Gazebo on corner of lane approx. 70 metres east of Glenfeadon House

GV II Gazebo, now house. Probably mid C19, and probably formerly belonging to Glenfeadon House. Coursed rubble with brick dressings (roof concealed). Gothick style, in the form of a semi-circular fronted 2-storey turret, with bands to both floors, triangular-headed lancet windows, and an embattled parapet; doorway on west side; roof concealed by parapet, chimney at left side. Interior not inspected. Probably built as garden folly by Basset family.
