Description

Tremayne Quay is a quay that was formerly a landing stage for Tremayne House, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of vertically-set dry shale rubble, with some dressed granite quoins and copings. The quay has a rectangular shape and projects from the river bank into the Helford River. There is a flight of steps located at the east end of the north side. This quay is noted for being particularly complete and well built, situated in one of the most beautiful stretches of the Helford River.
