Description
The garden walls located immediately to the southeast of Lower Calamansack Farmhouse date from the late 18th century or early 19th century. They are constructed of shale rubble, with the upper sections on the south and west sides made of cob, though the capping is missing. There is a doorway on the south side of the walls. These walls enclose a large rectangular garden situated on south-facing sloping ground, directly in front of Lower Calamansack Farmhouse and Lower Calamansack Cottage, both of which feature garden terraces in front. The walled garden was previously an orchard.
