Description
This coach house, now a house, dates from the late 18th century. It is located at the rear of Trevaylor House. The building is constructed of granite ashlar to the front, which has been later stuccoed, with brick and stucco to the left-hand wall. The roof is hipped and covered in asbestos slate. The plan is a square double-depth design with a central coach entrance and rooms on either side.
The south-east front is originally symmetrical, with three windows. It features a wide, segmental-arched doorway with projecting, pier-like jambs. A mid-floor band runs across the facade. Flat, keyed arches top the tripartite ground floor windows. Lunette windows are positioned above the ground floor windows; the right-hand lunette windows retain their original mullions. A square window sits above the doorway. The windows are mostly C20 sashes and casements with glazing bars. The interior was not inspected.
