Description

This rick stand, located about 20 metres north of the barn at Carkeet Farmhouse, dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed from granite. It features a rectangular arrangement of staddles, with large granite lintels, some of which have fallen. This structure is a rare survival and is part of the planned farmyard at Carkeet.
