Description

The cross shaft located at SX 237 704 is a Grade II listed structure, likely of Celtic origin. It is a roughly hewn granite monolith, standing approximately 1.3 meters tall. The front and rear of the shaft feature a roughly carved furrow, although the head of the cross is missing.
