Description
This guidepost, dating from the early 19th century, is made of painted dressed granite and features a pyramidal head. The shaft is triangular in shape and sits on a square base. The two inscribed sides rise from large pyramidal stops and display incised Roman lettering. The left-hand inscription reads: "TO STITHIANS GWENNAP REDRUTH," while the right-hand side inscription states: "TO PENRYN FALMOUTH TRURO."
