Description

This is a pair of attached early 19th-century houses located on Avon Crescent, near the Floating Harbour in Bristol. The houses are constructed of stucco with limestone dressings, featuring party wall stacks and a pantile hipped roof. They are arranged on a double-depth plan and are three stories high, with a single window in each bay. The facades are articulated by pilaster strips rising to a first-floor cornice and a coped parapet. Number 2 has a window in place of a doorway, with the entrance located in the right return. The left-hand house has sash windows with margin bars, while the right-hand house has 20th-century casements. The interior of the houses has not been inspected. The property includes attached garden walls with capped piers.
