Description

This is a gas lamp post located approximately 1 metre north-east of the gateway to Windsor Terrace in Clifton, Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a square base and a fluted shaft, complete with a switch bar and a square lantern. It has been converted to electricity.
