Description

This gas lamp post, located approximately 3 metres north of number 35 on Cornwallis Crescent in Clifton, Bristol, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a fluted shaft with a switch bar. The lamp has been fitted with a square lantern from the late 20th century and has been converted to electricity.
