Description
This gas lamp post, located approximately 3 metres north of number 30 on Cornwallis Crescent in Clifton, Bristol, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a moulded base leading up to a fluted shaft, which includes a switch bar. The lamp is topped with a square lantern that was added in the late 20th century. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
