Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 20 metres north of number 27 on Great George Street in Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a moulded base and a fluted shaft, equipped with a switch bar. It has been converted to electricity and now has a late 20th-century square lantern.
