Description
This gas lamp post, located approximately 3 metres south of Number 1 on Charlotte Street in Bristol, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a moulded base leading to a fluted shaft topped with a square lantern. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
