Description
This is a gas lamp post located approximately 20 meters north of number 3 on the east side of the junction with Hill Street in Bristol. It dates from the mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a moulded base and a fluted shaft with a switch bar, topped with a square lantern that was added in the late 20th century. The lamp has been converted to electricity.
