Description

This milestone, located approximately 40 meters northeast of the south entrance to Purdown Hospital in Bristol, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone ashlar and features a cast-iron plaque. The tall stone panel has a rounded top and displays the inscription "TO/ BRISTOL/ 2."
