Description
Bridge Farmhouse and its attached outbuildings date from the early 18th century. The buildings are constructed of squared, coursed rubble with limestone ashlar dressings and Pennant rubble, topped with a pantile roof and featuring brick end stacks. The layout is a double-depth plan that forms three sides of a small courtyard. The farmhouse has three storeys and a cellar, with a symmetrical front that includes a panelled door with a rectangular overlight and a flat canopy supported by quadrant scrolled brackets. There are also 2-light windows with 20th-century metal casements.
Inside, there is a flagged through-passage leading to a blocked rear door, with a winder stair located to the right. The internal rear doorway on the right is stopped and chamfered, and there are cupboards in the front right room featuring HL-hinges. The extension to the rear left includes a bread oven and a first-floor cheese loft. The flagged courtyard at the rear opens to the right.
