Description
Heath House is a house that has been converted into a hospital, built in 1784. It features a limestone ashlar exterior and an interlocking tile hipped roof, with an L-shaped double-depth plan. The building is two stories tall and has a five-window range. It includes a plinth, a plat band, a bracketed cornice, and a blocking course. The central entrance has a doorcase supported by Roman Doric columns with fluted neckings, a frieze, a pediment, and Pennant steps leading up to it. The windows have keyed architraves and are fitted with 20th-century windows. The right side of the building has a window arrangement of three, three, and three, with full-height bows at either end. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have been completely remodelled.
