Description

No. 32 Somerset Street is an attached house built around 1790, showcasing a mid-Georgian style. The exterior is finished in stucco with limestone dressings, and the roof is not visible. The house has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high with a basement, featuring a two-window range. The front façade is parapeted, with a semicircular-arched doorway on the left that includes a three-light fanlight with curved glazing bars and a six-panel door. The windows are set in flush boxes, with a canted ground-floor bay that has a six-over-six pane sash flanked by two four-over-four pane sashes. Above this, there is a tripartite first-floor window with a six-over-six pane sash flanked by two two-over-two pane sashes, and on the second floor, there are three six-over-six pane sashes and one two-over-two pane sash. There are also six-over-six pane sashes above the door. The interior has not been inspected.
