Description

The front wall and gates to Colston's Almshouses in Bristol are a Grade I listed structure. They consist of walls, piers, railings, and gates made from wrought iron, Pennant rubble, and limestone ashlar. The walls form the end of the courtyard and are complemented by spear-headed railings and gates that feature palmette finials. The piers are topped with ball finials, adding to the decorative elements of the entrance.
