Description
Numbers 31 to 37 (Odd) Bristol University School of Medicine is a terrace of four houses, now part of the University of Bristol School of Medicine. Built in the mid-18th century, the terrace was rebuilt in 1958. The exterior is rendered with cast stone dressings, and the roof is not visible. The building features a double-depth plan and is designed in a mid-Georgian style. It stands three storeys high with an eight-window range, arranged in a stepped block of three, three, one, and one windows. Number 35 is set back above an elliptical through arch, which has a stepped moulded coping. The right-hand doorways are semicircular-arched with keys and imposts, featuring four-pane fanlights and six-panel doors. Each house has single eight-over-eight pane sashes on the ground floor and six-over-six panes above, all in flush frames. The interior has not been inspected.
