Description

This is a terrace of four early 19th-century houses located on Wapping Road in Bristol. The houses are rendered with limestone dressings, feature party wall stacks, and have a concealed roof. They are built on a double-depth plan and are in a late Georgian style. Each house is three storeys high with a basement, and each has a single-window range. Architectural details include pilasters, a thin cornice, and a parapet. The doorways are semicircular-arched with imposts and key blocks, and are topped with fanlights. The doorways are fitted with six-panel doors, positioned to the left of numbers 2-4, the right of number 1, and set back behind an open arch at number 2. The windows are 8/8-pane sash windows, each surrounded by five stepped voussoirs. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
