Terrace of 3 houses, now public house. Early C19. Limestone ashlar and render, roof not visible. Open plan. 3 storeys; 12-window range. An irregular front divided by pilasters to a coped parapet, turns into Bathurst Basin at the right-hand end. Left-hand 3-window section has a carriage arch to the left, a central semicircular window and a right-hand tripartite window with a cornice; upper windows have pedimented lintels to 8/8-pane first-floor sashes and blind second-floor windows. 2 central sections of 3 windows each have pilasters, a continuous cornice and a doorway with a good batswing fanlight and 6-panel door. To the right-hand end in Bathurst Parade is a 3-window range with linked cornice, and 2 doorways. The corner has wide C20 windows, and a 5/10-pane second-floor sash. A good ironwork verandah on cast-iron columns with fretwork first-floor stanchions, to the middle and corner sections. INTERIOR: C20 public house interior includes a cellar with a vaulted tunnel beneath the road, a dogleg stair with stick balusters and column newels, a 6-panel first-floor door.
