Number 12 And Attached Right Hand Wall And Piers

Number 12 is a house located on North Green Street in Hotwells, Bristol, built in the late 18th century. It features a double-depth plan and is designed in the late Georgian style, constructed from brick and stucco with limestone dressings, topped by a pantile hipped roof. The building has three storeys and a one-window range, with a left-hand brick pilaster strip leading to a moulded coping. The right-hand doorway includes a six-panel door with raised upper panels and a reeded lower pair. The windows are six-over-six pane sashes, with smaller ones on the second floor, and there is a first-floor canted oriel window with horned sashes. The left return is splayed, while the right return has a two-window range. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is reported to have a central lateral dogleg stair. Attached to the right side of the house are a wall and capped gate piers.
