Description
Polygon House is an attached house built around 1740, featuring a render over brick with limestone dressings, a brick party wall stack, and a pantile double-pile roof. It has a double-depth plan and is designed in the mid-Georgian style. The building stands two storeys high, with a basement and attic, and has a three-window range. It continues the design of No. 6 Dowry Square, complete with a moulded coping. The lower floors were not visible during the survey, but the house has 4/4-pane sash windows in exposed frames, and three hipped slate dormers with 6/6-pane sashes. The interior was not inspected.
