Public house. Mid C18. Render, clinker basement, brick party wall stack and a hipped pantile roof. Double-depth plan. Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. A projecting C19 ground floor with a right-hand doorway and tripartite plate-glass window with pilaster jambs and cornice. Clasping pilaster strips behind to boxed eaves; horned plate-glass sashes in flush frames. Right-hand return has clinker-clad basement, windows to the rear in exposed frames, 4/4-pane sashes, and right-hand 8/8-pane sashes. INTERIOR: open-plan ground floor, a mid C18 semicircular-arched entrance doorway with key and cornice, leaded fanlight and 4-panel door, to a C19 stair flight.
