Description

Stapleton Mill is a water mill located in Snuff Mills Park, dating from the early 19th century and reconstructed around 1985. The building is constructed of pennant rubble and features a double Roman roof. It has a single-depth plan and is a single storey with a one-window range. Notable features include an iron undershot wheel, a boiler, a square chimney, and a verandah on three sides. Originally, the mill was two storeys tall. The interior has not been inspected.
