Description
Milborne Wick Mill is a water mill dating from the 19th century, possibly with an earlier front section. It is constructed from local stone coursed rubble and features a plain clay tile roof that is divided into two parts, with the section nearest the road being half hipped over stone slate base courses. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays displaying random window arrangements on the east side. The windows are two-light casements set under exposed timber lintels, except for the lower bay of the first section, which has no window. Between the first and second bays, there is a low semi-circular arch above the watercourse. The water wheel was sent away for restoration in March 1984. At the north end, there are doors leading to the ground and first floors, along with casement windows on the ground floor and attic. A 19th-century extension extends westward. The south gable features diagonal corner buttresses with offsets of uncertain date. The interior has been modified.
