Description

Milestone located between numbers 124 and 126 on Summerhill Road in St George, Bristol, dating from around 1800. It is made of pennant stone and cast iron, positioned diagonally at the entrance to a track. The milestone features plates that indicate the distances to Bath (9 1/2 miles) and Bristol (2 miles).
