Description
This milestone, dating from the late 18th century, is made of freestone and features an upright design with a semi-circular head. The incised lettering on the milestone indicates the distance to Bristol, stating: "From/BRISTOL/4 Miles To/Q. CHARLTON/Church/7 Furlongs/16 Poles".
