Description
This is a chimney built in the early 19th century, located on the north side of Trooper's Hill in Crew's Hole, Bristol. It is constructed from pennant rubble with copper-slag block dressings. The chimney is square and consists of two stages, with the upper stage set back. It was previously attached by two walls to an engine house, which has since been demolished. It is likely that this chimney was part of a former colliery engine house.
