The gable end faces the road and extends low over lean-to extensions on both sides, with the eastern side including a timber verandah-porch. The cottage has mullioned casement windows with diamond lattice glazing, consisting of three lights with a transom on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. It has a steeply pitched slate roof with overhanging eaves and plain bargeboards. A pair of chimneystacks is set diagonally on the ridge. This building is part of a group of listed buildings along Wallisdown Road and Columbia Road.
