Description

This is a street lamp located approximately 20 metres south-west of The Rectory in Poole. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron. The lamp features a round plinth with a decorated panel and a band that includes shells and the arms of Poole. Below the shaft, there is an enriched band, and the shaft itself has a decorative spiral binding. It is supported by a scrolled bracket that holds a tapered square lamp, which is topped with a cap and finial.
