Description
This is a street lamp located approximately 6 metres east of number 8 in Poole, dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a round plinth with a decorated panel, along with a band that displays shells and the arms of Poole. Below the shaft, there is an enriched band, and the shaft itself is adorned with decorative spiral binding. The lamp has a scrolled bracket supporting a tapered square lamp, which is topped with a cap and finial.
