Description

Ashley Cottage is a pair of attached houses, originally two separate dwellings, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They were restored in the mid-20th century. The houses are constructed of brick with a tarred plinth and have a tiled roof. They have two storeys and a five-window facade. A mid-20th century doorcase features a round-arched doorway with a shallow pedimented surround, and a panelled door. The windows are sash windows with six-pane glazing and horns, each with a flat brick arch above. An inscribed name plaque is located at the top left of the facade. The interior of the property has not been inspected. The buildings are listed for their group value.
