Description
Blenheim House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It features header bond brickwork with serrated eaves, a tarred plinth, and a tiled half-hipped roof with stone slate verges and a brick stack. The building has two storeys, a basement, and an attic, with a three-window range. There are steps leading up to a left-hand doorway that has a mid-20th century timber pedimented surround, which frames a recessed six-panel door with glazed top panels. The central feature is a mid-20th century shallow canted oriel window with an 8/8-pane central sash, flanked by segmental-arched windows with six-over-six pane sashes on the ground floor and eight-over-eight pane sashes on the first floor. A hipped dormer with a six-pane casement and slate cheeks completes the exterior. The interior has not been inspected.
