Description

Lawn Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Mudeford. It features a painted brick facade and a slate roof, rising to two storeys. The cottage has two sash windows with glazing bars and boxed frames; the ground floor windows have cambered head linings. A central gabled porch leads to a six-panelled door. There is a red brick outbuilding attached to the west side of the house, which continues the line of the building along the street. Lawn Cottage, along with Nelson's Cottage, Sandhills, its lodge, and the street boundary wall and gate piers, form a group of buildings of local interest.
