Description
The Moorings is an 18th century house located on the south side of Mudeford. It features a stuccoed facade and a tiled roof, standing two storeys tall with five sash windows that have glazing bars. The entrance is highlighted by a doorway with a moulded architrave surround and a pediment above, leading to a door made of six fielded panels, with the top two panels cut and glazed. The Moorings is part of a group of buildings that includes Seabrook Cottage, Bridge House, Sunnyholme and an adjoining cottage, Mudeford Lodge and its outbuilding, Mount Pleasant and its boundary wall, the Pillar Box, and The Staithe, all of which contribute to the local interest of the area.
