Description

The gazebo and gateway, located to the south of and adjoining the Old Doctor's House and Copper Beech Cottage, date from the mid to late 18th century. The structure is built of rubble, with the upper floor partly rendered, and features a lean-to pantile roof. The main part of the gazebo is two storeys high and includes a rustic rock-faced doorway on the ground floor, a plat band, and a three-light window with flat ogee heads on the first floor, topped with a cornice and parapet. To the right, there is a lower one-storey wing that has a single, tall window with a flat ogee head. An ashlar pointed arch gateway connects the gazebo to the house.
