Description
This structure consists of a wall, balustrade, piers, and a gate, located about 5 metres east of Chelwood House. It dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The wall is made of limestone rubble and features stone piers and a balustrade, along with a wrought iron gate. The low wall runs approximately 9 metres along the front boundary and is topped with stone balustrading. The end piers are fluted and have pedimental caps, while the central pair of square panelled piers are adorned with cornices and pedimental caps. The gate has a simple pattern with scroll cresting.
