Description
No. 228 High Street is a house that was formerly a house and shop, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a slate roof. The building has three storeys and features one glazing bar sash window. On the ground floor, there is a late 19th century to early 20th century shopfront and door, which includes segmental headed lights. A plat band runs below the first floor.
