Description

These are a pair of houses located on the north-west side of High Street in Batheaston, built in the mid to late 18th century. The houses are constructed of painted ashlar and feature a slate mansard roof with coped, raised verges. A large ashlar stack sits centrally on the roof. The houses are two storeys high with attics contained within dormers. Each house has two glazing bar sash windows, set close together. Modern doors are positioned at each end of the building, sheltered by a flat stone hood supported on brackets.
