Description

Nos 5 and 6 Avondale Place are a pair of houses built in the early 18th century. They are constructed from rubble and feature a double Roman tiled mansard roof with coped raised verges. The buildings are two storeys high with attics in the dormers and have two bays. No 5 has one window on the front, although there are three on the south elevation, while No 6 has three bays and two windows. Both houses have two-light casements with moulded mullions, and the ground floor windows are topped with cornices. Each house has modern doors located to the left.
