Description

Diamond’s Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early to mid-19th century. The exterior is of rubble construction with a double Roman tiled roof and brick end stacks. It is two storeys high and has two windows. The ground floor windows are 3-light casements from the 19th and 20th centuries, with ovolo moulded lintels and dripmoulds. The first-floor windows are lattice-glazed casements. A door to the right, set under a segmental head, leads into a lobby entry on the gable end. Inside, the cottage features chamfered beams with step and run-out stops, a blocked fireplace with a chamfered lintel, and a winder stair to the left.
