Description

This is a pair of early 19th-century houses located on the south side of North Road in Combe Down/Williamstowe. The houses are built of limestone ashlar and have slate or concrete tile roofs. Each house is two storeys high with two windows per floor. The windows are sash windows: No.126 has replacement twelve-pane over four-pane windows, and No.128 has original twelve-pane sashes. No.126 features a 19th-century flush four-panel door with a small window above, and a stack on the right side shared with the adjacent house at No.124. A rear wing extends from the main body of the building at No.126, but it does not span the full width. No.128 has a 20th-century door on the right side. The pair of houses are distinguished by three coped gables. The interiors have not been inspected.
