Description

Spencer's Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, which was remodeled in the 19th century. It is constructed of rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar end stacks. The building has two storeys and attics, with three glazing bar sash windows set in plain surrounds, and a continuous plain string course above. The central entrance consists of a panelled and glazed door located in a projecting porch supported by slender cast iron Tuscan columns. To the right, there is a single bay, single storey wing.
