Description

Newton Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century, with extensions added in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof with coped raised verges and ashlar end stacks. The building has three storeys and displays four irregular three- and two-light casement windows, which are set in ovolo moulded surrounds with mullions. There is a continuous stringcourse above the two right windows. A panelled door is located on the left side of the facade. The gable is topped by a stack positioned at the centre of the eaves.
